TFP SHOOTING
TFP stands for Time for Prints or Time for Photos (Pictures) and is a term from the modeling and photography industry. It describes an agreement between a photographer and a model where both parties invest their time without any monetary exchange. Instead of payment for the model or photographer, each participant in the shoot receives the rights to the resulting photos, which they can then use for their portfolio or their own promotional purposes. In a TFP shoot, the model receives free photos, and the photographer also receives photos that they can use for their own purposes (portfolio or advertising). This type of collaboration is particularly useful for new models and photographers who want to expand their portfolio without having to invest any money. It is important to note that all details of TFP shoots should be clearly agreed upon in advance, such as the number of photos, the use of the images, the rights to the photos, and the conditions for publication. TFP shoots are therefore a way for both parties to expand their work and improve their portfolios without money being involved.
