FOOH
FOOH (Fake Out of Home) refers to a modern form of digital advertising, in which seemingly real outdoor advertising is created using CGI, 3D animations, and visual effects. The campaigns appear to take place on buildings, streets or huge digital billboards, although the scenes are entirely digitally produced and mostly spread via social media.
Unlike traditional OOH or DOOH advertising, the advertising space in FOOH often does not exist physically on location. Instead, digital effects are integrated into real city footage so realistically that the impression of a spectacular outdoor advertisement is created. Examples of this include oversized products on high-rise buildings, seemingly interactive facades, or virtual objects moving through city centers.
