SNAPSHOT
A snapshot is a spontaneous, unposed photograph of a model, taken without elaborate styling, makeup, or elaborate poses. The goal is to authentically showcase the model’s natural appearance, body proportions, and personality. Snapshots are often taken at castings or used for agency files to provide a quick and realistic impression.
Unlike Polaroids, which are standardized, formal shots with neutral clothing, defined poses, and fixed angles, snapshots are more relaxed and less posed. While Polaroids primarily serve to document measurements and features, snapshots capture a model’s natural charisma and presence in everyday attire.
