Prêt-à-Porter (from the French: Ready-to-wear) refers to clothing that, unlike haute couture, is not created solely for the catwalk and models, but is marketed in standard sizes and ready-made. The term prêt-à-Porter is generally used in connection with designs and shows by major fashion houses and therefore does not carry the negative connotation of mass-produced goods.
