A mother agency is a modeling agency that exclusively represents a model. This means the model is not listed with any other agency in the same city or country. If the model wishes to be represented by another agency, this must be coordinated with and approved by the mother agency beforehand. The mother agency is responsible for developing the model’s career, placing them nationally and internationally, organizing castings and go-sees, investing in comp cards, and handling all necessary PR matters.
