EMBARGO
In the media and advertising context, an embargo is a ban on publication until a set date or until explicit approval is given. On modeling jobs, it can apply to campaign images, unreleased collections, or behind-the-scenes footage, for example. Such content may not be posted or shared on your own during the agreed embargo period. An embargo allows a brand to coordinate the launch of its campaign. Even after the embargo period ends, the agreed usage rights and any other approval conditions must still be observed.
As an influencer, embargoes often apply to product launches or PR packages you receive before the official date, because posting too early can put your fee and future collaborations with the brand at risk. So always ask when and what you're allowed to show, and time your posts exactly for the agreed date. Even hints in Stories or comments can already count as a breach.
