DOOH
DOOH (Digital Out of Home) refers to a form of outdoor advertising in which digital technologies are used to display advertising content on public displays or screens. In the model business, DOOH is gaining in importance, as campaigns are now increasingly produced not only for classic posters or print media, but specifically for digital advertising spaces in public areas.
In contrast to classic out-of-home advertising (OOH), which is based on static formats such as posters or banners, DOOH enables dynamic and digital content delivery. This creates new areas of application for models, for example in moving campaigns, short video sequences or specially produced digital commercials for large screens in city centers, train stations or shopping malls. The content can be adapted in real-time and also offers interactive possibilities in some cases. This allows campaigns to be designed more flexibly, played out more targeted and adapted more strongly to external factors such as time, location or weather. For models, the term is important because many modern advertising productions and castings are now specifically advertised for DOOH campaigns, and the later use of the recordings often achieves particularly high public visibility.
