CALL TIME
Call time is the time when you need to be ready on set or at the meeting point. It’s listed on the call sheet that you receive from your agency or the production before a shoot, filming, or show.
Important: call time isn’t when you leave home or when you’re just pulling up. By that time, you should already be there and ready to start work, usually with hair and makeup. So plan in a buffer, especially if you don’t know the location, need to find parking, or have to go through a security check.
There can be different call times on set: hair and makeup, styling, the photographer, and the models are often scheduled in stages. So always go by your own time on the call sheet. If you realize you won’t make it on time, let your agency or the production know right away. Nobody on set likes waiting for you. Show up late, and you’ll quickly become the talk of the industry.
