WHAT DOES A TYPICAL SHOOTING DAY LOOK LIKE IN YOUR MODEL COLLECTIVE FORMAT?!
On shooting days, we usually start early in the morning with a hearty breakfast. Since the schedule is often tight, it can happen that breakfast is occasionally eaten in the makeup chair during the first hair & makeup session. Afterward, we drive together to the first location, where the planned looks and concepts are shot, provided the weather allows us to stick to the planned schedule for the day. If that’s not the case, we react flexibly and adapt the schedule and locations on the spot to the conditions.
Over the course of the day – depending on the shooting plan – we move between different locations to create different sets, lighting moods and visual worlds. There is usually another makeup and styling change in between so that we can create as many different looks as possible.
Whenever possible, we end the day with a get-together – over a cup of tea or a small snack. Depending on the coach or mentor on-site, there may even be a relaxing bedtime yoga session.
Sometimes, however – and unfortunately more often than we would like – the shoots go on until late in the evening.
The aim of the camp is to introduce you to real production workflows: structured processes, precise timing, quick outfit changes, efficient work on set and a professional performance in front of the camera – exactly as is expected in commercial, fashion or editorial productions.
