VIDEO PODCAST - VODCAST
A video podcast, also known as a vodcast, is a podcast format that includes not only audio but also visual content. Unlike a traditional podcast, which is intended solely for listening, a vodcast is additionally filmed and published as a video—for example, on platforms like YouTube or Spotify.
In the context of influencer marketing, vodcasts are becoming increasingly important because they enable a stronger personal connection with the community. Followers can not only listen but also perceive facial expressions, gestures, and the setting, which makes the content more relatable and authentic.
Typically, vodcasts feature conversations, interviews, or discussions, often in a fixed setting such as a studio or a home environment. At the same time, they offer more opportunities for branding, product placements, and visual presentation.
For influencers, a vodcast is an extension of their content that allows them to present their personality and topics even more vividly. For brands, this creates additional space for integration – both within the conversation itself and visually on screen.
