ARE A VISA AND A WORK PERMIT THE SAME THING?!
The difference between a visa and a work permit is important because they regulate different things.
Visa
A visa allows you to enter a country and stay there. It therefore primarily regulates your entry and the duration of your stay. Depending on the country, there are different types of visas, such as tourist visas, student visas, or business visas. However, a visa does not automatically mean that you are allowed to work in that country.
Work Permit
A work permit, on the other hand, governs the right to work in a country. It is an authorization from the authorities allowing you to work there legally. In many countries, a work permit is either applied for separately or is linked to a specific visa, such as a work visa.
